3 Keys To Success With Your Affiliate Program

Affiliate programs (also called Referral Programs or Partnership Programs) are essentially commission-based sales schemes. Joining an affiliate program is a neat way to make money from your users. But just as you can join someone else's affiliate program, so you can set up your own program and invite webmasters to sign up. Here are my top 3 tips to succeed with your own affiliate program. 1. How to attract affiliates One of the biggest fears new Affiliate managers have is in finding new affiliates. This fear is a stumbling block that stops many site owners from getting started with affiliate marketing. Interestingly, with a proper marketing strategy, getting affiliates may not be very difficult. Given below are some tips that may help in attracting new affiliates.Find complimentary sites - "Complementary" sites are sites that sell products or services that compliment your offers. If you sell "gardening tools", a site that sells books on "gardening tips" would be a perfect affiliate. Find content sites - There are many sites that do not sell any kind of product or service but are mainly content oriented sites. Such sites promote an idea, concept, study or belief. Content sites that are used as a resource for your target market are ideal affiliates. Finally, there are several sites on the Internet dedicated to listing affiliate Programs. Get your program listed in these directories.2. Classifying Affiliates for Better ManagementThe hardest part of administrating an Affiliate Program is deciding what your affiliates need to help make the sale. But, by carefully categorizing your affiliates, you can easily determine what their needs are and how to accurately meet them. The first step is to pick at least three types of affiliate. Take a look at your affiliates and try to determine one outstanding characteristic that can easily be compared across the board and choose at least three types of the characteristic. The Second Step is to determine the needs of each type. Each of your affiliate types will have different needs; some of their needs will overlap, but you should find a distinct difference in many of their needs. If you find that all of them have the same needs, go back to step one and re-think your types. The Third Step involves the process of creating and compiling linking methods for each group of affiliates. Based on the needs you identified in Step two, create and compile linking methods for each type. 3. Safe Guarding Against SpamAny time you run a program where your affiliates rely on other signups to generate profits, you will eventually have a problem with spam. One of your affiliates will inevitably get it into their head to blitz the Web with unwanted garbage. When this happens you need to be ready to take action otherwise it will cost you! Your Internet company can boot you off your server and you can find yourself blacklisted. Not good for business. If you get an email from someone claiming they received spam with your URL, then take it as an early warning. I am not advising you to immediately terminate the affiliate's account, but be sure to contact them to follow up on the complaint. Let your affiliate know you received a complaint and advise them to remove this person from their list. If you only get one or two complaints, it's probably not spam, the complainants might simply have signed up for an email list and forgotten all about it. You will know when one of your affiliates is spamming, because you will get anywhere from 10 to 100 complaints in the same day all regarding the same URL. The best thing to do in this case is to immediately terminate or disable the account of the affiliate URL that was spammed.Running your own affiliate program can become an extrememly profitable venture for your business. You can recruit a HUGE sales force promoting your products for you, and ONLY pay them when you make a sale!Andy Murray is a marketer and publisher writing informative reports to help grow your online business. 11 Tips for Joining Affiliate

Here are some things that I look for before joining an affiliate program. They are items I feel are imperative to being in a successful affiliate program.1. The affiliate program has a great payment structure. For me, a high commission that is also a high percentage of the purchase price is essential. Nothing under 25% commission.2. Make sure the affiliate program you are joining has a good looking site. You do not want to be sending visitors to a site that you do not like yourself.3. Make sure they offer a comprehensive affiliate statistics page that lists the number of click throughs, number of sales and amount earned. This should be broken down per month.4. Also make sure that the affiliate statistics are updated automatically and immediately. You do not want to find out today about a sale you made a week ago.5. Ensure they give a wide variety of text links, banners and graphics to put on your web page. Although I prefer text links, certain types of banners and graphics still work well.6. Know how often you are going to be paid. If you are tossing up between 2 programs and one pays monthly and the other pays quarterly, the one that pays monthly is better. You do not want to wait months before getting paid for your hard work!7. See if the affiliate program gives examples of how the top affiliates are doing. This can be a great pointer to whether it is good or not. If some affiliates are earning many thousands per month, it is a good affiliate program.8. Along these lines, also see if they give examples of what marketing methods these successful affiliates are using to get the best results.9. An affiliate program that offers a special monthly newsletter just for the affiliates is great. Here you can get extra tips and techniques that are working well.10. See if they offer email notification when you make a sale or get an affiliate signed up under you (if it is a 2-tier program). It is good to see `You have made another sale' in your inbox.11. Ensure top level support is given. If they cannot answer your query straight away make sure they can respond within 48 hours. There is tremendous demand for affiliate programs and choosing the right one is no easy task. Make sure you do plenty of research before joining one.

No doubt you’ve heard of the 80/20 rule – which states that20 percent of affiliates generate 80% of affiliate income, andconversely, remaining 80 percent of affiliates generate only20 percent of all income for most affiliate programs. There are ten basics that will put your affiliate marketingin the top 20 percent of affiliate earnings. Ten suggestionsthat will transform your affiliate income from a tricklingcreek that barely covers your hosting fees, to a roaring riverof extra disposable income.TOP AFFILIATE MARKETERS DO MOST OF THESE TEN ITEMS1.Top affiliate marketers cloak web site linksCloaking affiliate links should not be necessary, but is. Oddlymany site visitors refuse to visit your links if they see anaffiliate code appended to the URL when they hover their mouseover a link on your web page. Sometimes they will type theaffiliate domain directly to the browser address bar whileremoving your affiliate ID from the URL. To short circuit thisodd behavior, simply cloak the URL. How? Visit this Link Tool:http://WebpositionAdvisor.com/tools/link_cloaker.php2.Top affiliate marketers write & distribute articlesWriting articles about your market niche is essential to gainreputation as an expert in your field. But the biggest benefitcomes not just from writing those articles, but from havingthose articles published by other web site owners and ezinepublishers. Your article gains you both reputation and linksfrom other web sites from the resource box appended to theend of each article. Here are major article distribution sites.http://yahoogroups.com/group/free-content/http://groups.yahoo.com/group/aabusiness/http://www.goarticles.comhttp://www.ideamarketers.com3.Top affiliate marketers focus on a market nicheFilling a web site with content reflecting a narrowly focusedproduct or service niche is a well known method of gaining webtraffic in your area of specialty. An excellent resource thatcan help you determine relevant and focused areas to fill yoursite with is called NicheBot. They offer innovative tools toresearch and pinpoint market niches for your web site based onthe WordTracker Database and Google.http://www.nichebot.com4.Top affiliate marketers use autoresponder seriesAutoresponders are incredibly valuable tools that allow you tosend a timed series of email messages to those that sign up forthem. Most often those autoresponders are sent through a thirdparty provider. Some of the top providers are Sendfree.com andaweber.com, for a tutorial covering autoresponder basics, visit:http://website101.com/email_e-mail/email_autoresponder_basics.html5.Top affiliate marketers create web pages to pre-sellCreating either testimonial pages or review pages that discussand pre-sell the product or service you are affiliated with isthe best method of getting increased orders for your chosenaffiliate programs. Many programs actually provide either anarticle or recommended text to sell their products for you andallow reproduction of those articles with your links embedded.6.Top affiliate marketers gather email addressesThe best affiliates collect email addresses on their web siteby offering free reports via the above mentioned autorespondersor by giving away ebooks or through newsletter signup forms. The best use all of these methods or more to build their listof email addresses. This also allows you to contact potentialcustomers that would otherwise never see your site again afterclicking away to the affiliate program web site. 7.Top affiliate marketers advertise SOMEWHEREDepending on your market niche you should advertise using PPCand/or ezine advertising. Some categories of Pay-per-click canbe prohibitively expensive, but advertising somewhere is allbut mandatory to gain substantial additional traffic to yoursite. There are some great bargains in ezine advertising andsome less popular PPC engines other than Yahoo’s Overture andGoogle’s Adwords. Try 7search, Kanoodle and FindWhat for lowerBids than the big boys of PPC.8.Top affiliate marketers optimize for search enginesSearch engine optimization is becoming more complex as moreand more webmasters participate, but the basics applied toyour site can increase visibility dramatically over time. Themost critical of the many SEO techniques is to use title tagsthat reflect individual PAGE content. Many webmasters write amaster title tag and apply that site-wide. This is the worstthing you could do for search engine ranking. Learn more SEO:http://SearchEngineOptimism.com/SEO_Tutorial/9.Top affiliate marketers give away ebooks or freebiesEveryone knows by now that giving something away is a greattraffic generator and allows you to gather email addressesto allow contact of potential customers at a later date. Thisstrategy is employed by EVERY successful web-based company atone time or another. Think of all the free things YOU havecollected online over time. Screensavers, software, ebooks, discount codes, toolbars, white papers. They work!10. Top Affiliate marketers have their own mailing listsThe best of affiliate marketers have their own newsletter orezine and gather email addresses on their site to build theirlist of subscribers. Having this list allows regular contactwith potential customers interested in your site, your productand your market niche. If you don’t write your own material orthink you can’t produce weekly content, there are hundreds ofauthors out there that will gladly product articles for you.The article distribution lists provide free content and ghostWriters provide high quality content for a fee. If you implement ALL the above techniques, you are guaranteedto become one of the top affiliate marketers on the web. Thenyou can create your own product telling everyone how YOU didit, create your own affiliate program and have hundreds of usselling for you.

Affiliate Programs to Avoid

Affiliate Programs
Copyright 2003 (c) Rosalind Gardner, All Rights Reserved. As an affiliate marketer of Internet dating services, I'm always on the lookout for good quality dating sites and products to offer my single visitors. Merchants help me out when they let me know about their new products and affiliate programs. I was therefore thrilled when one of my friendly affiliate competitors got in touch to tell me that he'd started his own Internet dating service and affiliate program. Having launched a community membership site myself last year, I could fully appreciate the huge amount of time and money my friend had invested to develop this new site. He was justifiably proud of his accomplishment and I was excited by the prospect of having a product to promote that would benefit everyone - my customers, my friend and myself. Unfortunately, it didn't quite work out that way. The first stumbling block was the low commission he offered. His top rate was 30%, with no commissions on recurring sales. This puzzled me. As an affiliate marketer of dating programs, he should have been aware that new sites offer at least 50% on new and recurring sales to entice good affiliates to sign up. If commissions on recurring sales are not offered, then the rates on new sales should be increased to between 70 and 100 percent. In most cases, his affiliate program would have struck out for me at that point. However, as this was my friend's site, it occurred to me that perhaps his product was so unique that the potential for high volume sales might offset the lower commission. Hoping for the best, I continued my review. When I got to the site, the first thing I noticed was '6 registered members' prominently displayed at the top of the homepage. That normally wouldn't be a problem, except for the fact that my customers are looking for friends and soul mates. If I send them to a site where there are only six people to meet, they'll likely be disappointed. Worse, by wasting their time, they lose trust in my judgement and then I will lose them as customers. That's not good. My customers are literally my bread and butter. Giving them what they want and expect is how I stay in business. Paying for traffic that I send to a merchant site where there is nothing to buy, will put me out of business. (This is how a membership site should be structured. When starting a dating service, the merchant pays for advertising to bring people to their site. To entice visitors to sign up as members, he will initially offer his services for fr*ee. When the database is large enough to attract paying customers, the affiliate program manager then invites potential affiliates to join their program.)Although my friend's program had already struck out for my customers and me, I was still curious, so I kept on looking. Next I clicked on a link labeled 'Dating Resources'. Expecting to find Internet dating tips and advice, I found links and banners pointing to Lavalife, FriendFinder and other affiliated dating sites instead. When I asked him about placing affiliate programs on his site, my friend said he simply wanted to supplement his income until the dating service got *rolling*. I can understand his motivation. However, what he doesn't understand is the concept of customer 'hijacking'. As an affiliate, you pay good money to get visitors to your site. You presell your merchants' products and expect the merchant to honor their end of the bargain by making the sale and sending your commission check. You don't pay for the merchant to send YOUR customers to THEIR affiliated merchants.I didn't need to look any further. I told my friend that I would hold off on signing up and why. Fortunately, he understood and has already alleviated some of the problems I mentioned. Knowing when NOT to sign up for an affiliate program can sometimes be a tough call. However, you can simplify the process considerably. Put yourself inside your customer's head. If the product won't work for them, the program strikes out. Simple as that

Monthly With Affiliate Programs

by: John McLaren
I still remember thinking that promoting Affiliate Programs was a waste of time. Until I started making a small fortune.
At the end of 2004, I started some time exploring the concept of promoting affiliate programs through pay-per-click search engines. I knew of some Internet Marketing gurus who were claiming you could make thousands of dollars every month. But I was skeptical. I remember thinking, “I know what these guys are about. They just want to sell more books.”
But I decided that at least it was worth a look. The concept is quite simple. Choose a product – and one that has an affiliate program, of course. Set up an advertising campaign at a PPC search engine like Google and choose how much you want to pay per click. Write a three line advertisement and add your affiliate link. Whenever anyone clicks through your ad and buys the product, you earn a commission.
So I looked. And thought about it. And looked some more. I was still very uncertain about the whole concept, but I finally decided to test for myself whether it could really work. And since I knew I’d be spending quite a bit of money on advertising clicks, I felt it was well worth investing in a book so I could learn from more experienced marketers how to maximize the profitability of my campaigns.
As my business grew over several weeks I purchased and read several ebooks. By far the best I read was Chris Carpenter’s Google Cash (
http://tinyurl.com/6gdaq ). His approach is genuine, down-to-earth, and he explains very clearly how to build your own affiliate marketing business. And importantly, he makes a fortune doing what he explains in the book.
I started by testing 20-30 campaigns on various products. Most of them were unsuccessful, but I expected that from what I had been reading. I would test a product, and if it didn’t work, I would drop it quickly. The key with this business is identifying the affiliate products and campaigns that are successful. Once you find one that works, the money starts rolling in.
By February of 2005 I had identified several campaigns that were turning a profit. With one of these I was spending $0.08 per click to promote an affiliate product that pays me $18 commission on each sale. Approximately 1 visitor in 100 buys the product, so I make around $10 profit for every 100 visitors that I send.
What a formula! For every 1,000 visitors, that’s $180 in commissions. That might not seem like all that much, but remember once you have a successful campaign it keeps going all day, every day. If you send just 1,000 visitors to a program like this every day, then by the end of the month you will have earned $5,400 in commissions, of which $3,000 is profit.
Does it seem too simple? Well, if it was so easy everyone from your Aunt Mabel to the mailman would be doing it. In fact, while the concept is simple, getting your campaigns to run profitably does take some work. Since I can't possibly teach you all you need to know in one article, I'll give you a few tips here and recommend Google Cash for a detailed explanation:
Choose Your Product Wisely. The program should pay a commission of $15 or more, otherwise it won’t be worth paying for your clicks. And if the commission is very high, be careful. Some products like web hosting and satellite dish installations may pay commissions of $100, but you face intense competition from other affiliates, so the price you need to pay to get ad exposure and clicks will probably also be very high. Sometimes it is better to identify a niche product with less competition from other affiliates.
Track Your Campaigns Carefully. If you’re paying around 7 or 8 cents per click for a program that pays close to $20 commission, you need to make at least one sale for every 250 visitors. If you send 300 to 400 visitors with no sale, consider dropping it.
Days Of The Week Do Matter. When testing campaigns keep in mind the day of the week and even the time of day. Some products sell better on Mondays through Fridays, during business hours. Others, like entertainment products, sell better in the evenings and on weekends.
Getting back to my own experience, after identifying several campaigns that ‘worked’, I spent some time fine-tuning them using techniques I read about in Google Cash. By the end of February I had earned $27,817 in commissions for the month, all on products I had never even heard of at the end of 2004. My profit was a neat $10,795.
It’s incredible really. I made this money without a web site. From home. Working an average of just an hour or two a day.
I’m finally making the amount of money online that I dreamed about.
How about you? Would you also like to build an affiliate marketing business? Could you use some additional income? I encourage you to proceed, but be smart about it. There are risks involved and you should be aware of them. You should read Chris Carpenter’s book. That way you’ll be on a fast track to more profitable campaigns. And his book will save you hundreds of dollars, easily, as you avoid some common mistakes and pitfalls.
Good Marketing!

How To Make Money Online With Google

The general public probably best recognizes Google as the web’s premier search engine. Google’s dominance on the Internet can’t be denied or argued. But perhaps what many people don’t realize, Google has become a premium revenue source for many webmasters and online marketers. It has became a virtual cash-cow for those who have mastered Google with their marketing techniques. They know a number one spot for a competitive keyword or keyword phrase in Google will usually prove very lucrative, bringing in a steady automatic income. Regardless of what the other search engines will attest, seasoned webmasters also know getting a top placement in Google will usually bring more traffic than a top placement in MSN or Yahoo combined! Getting a number one spot in Google for a popular keyword can prove very lucrative, earning a webmaster revenue 24/7/365. Therefore, webmasters have to optimize their sites and keywords for Google if they want to turn a healthy profit. Optimizing your webpages for Google is a complete industry in itself, what you really have to keep in mind, besides on-page optimization like keyword density, meta tags, etc. is that Google places a great amount of weight on off-page links and anchor text. Google ranks all webpages on the Internet by a scale of PR0 to PR10, higher is better. One-way links from high PR sites related to your keyword or website theme is highly valued and will usually move your site up on the SERPs (Search Engine Return Pages). This is the major factor why ‘article marketing’ is all the rage and why articles are great building blocks for getting top keywords and consequently extremely important for earning you revenue, directly or indirectly from Google. There are countless strategies for getting those top keyword listings in Google. But in my opinion, one of the best experts on the net for website SEO is Brad Callen. His ‘SEO Elite’ is top quality SEO software and his soon to be released ‘Keyword Elite’ will greatly impact how keywords are used by webmasters and marketers. Once you have gained significant traffic, you can use Google AdSense to earn revenue from your site or blog. Google AdSense lets webmasters and bloggers earn advertising revenue by placing the AdSense code on their sites. These can be text links, images, or banners. These AdSense ads will be directly related to your page’s keywords. Top or highest paying keywords will naturally return more revenue. AdSense ads are extremely targeted and is an effective way of earning money from your site. This is the popular Pay-Per-Click advertising system offered by Google. Perfecting the AdWord system is an art form in itself; do it right and you can create very lucrative cash streams. Do it wrong, and you can create your very own personal money pits! https://adwords.google.com/select Therefore, it is strongly advised that you learn more about AdWords before you risk your hard earned cash. One of the best sources for Google AdWords is still Perry Marshall’s excellent ebook ‘Google Cash’. It will give you all the basics on Google AdWords. Just about everyone knows about Google’s two popular programs AdWords and AdSense, but there are other ways marketers can earn money promoting Google products or services. Google has started to list products that an affiliate can promote through the AdSense program. You can earn money by promoting the Firefox browser with the Google search box and you can also promote Google’s AdSense program to other webmasters and earn money by referring new users. The next logical step for Google is to offer more products through its AdSense affiliate program. Many seasoned marketers are promoting Google’s AdSense, it would be counterproductive for Google not to take advantage and offer other products/services through this marketing system. Its own products or other closely related third party products. Many marketers would gladly promote products under the Google banner mainly because any Google branded product would be an easy sale for most affiliate marketers. Google pays monthly but you do have to earn $100 before they send you a check. Getting a check from Google is somewhat special, no matter what the amount, show your family and friends a check from Google and their eyes will pop open! If you’re an online marketer you may get quite a few larger checks from different online companies but nothing will get you the respect a Google check does. Just goes to show how much Google has permeated into our everyday lives. Not that you need it, but it’s just another reason to start earning money for Google. Try some of the programs listed above and you will be smiling all the way to... now, where the heck is that Google Bank

10 Inside Secrets to Google Adwords - Part 2

Are you frustrated with spending your hard-earned money on Google Adwords and losing more money than you make? Part 2 of this series continues revealing the inside secrets of successful, profitable advertising with Google Adwords. If you missed Part 1 or Part 3 of this series, simply send a blank email to googlearticle@superiormarketingpartners.com to get all three parts of this series of articles emailed back to you automatically. Secret #4 - Make separate AdGroups for each keyword within Google Adwords Google Adwords lets you create up to 25 campaigns per account, with up to 100 AdGroups per campaign as of this writing. It’s important to organize your keywords into separate AdGroups to maintain finer control over the ad text for each keyword. If you had one AdGroup for the following keywords: ‘widgets’, ‘plastic widgets’, and ‘wooden widgets’, then the ads created for that AdGroup would have to apply to all of the above keywords. If your ad text reads: "50% off all plastic widgets" and this ad is showing for the other keyword phrases in the same AdGroup, then someone searching for ‘wooden widgets’ probably will not be inclined to click on your ad that is focused on people searching for ‘plastic widgets’. The way to be sure each ad is focused on the exact keyword phrase being targeted is to have a separate AdGroup within your Google Adwords account for each keyword phrase, and ad text that exactly matches that phrase. For example, an AdGroup named ‘Plastic Widgets’ with the keywords ‘plastic widget’ and ‘plastic widgets’ can have an ad with text that reads "50% off all plastic widgets" and the people searching for ‘plastic widgets’ will see the ad most relevant to their search term. Create a separate AdGroup for ‘wooden widgets’, etc. Now you can create ads with text that matches the exact keyword phrase for which people are searching. Secret #5 - Run tons of keywords in Google Adwords Most people that have Google Adwords accounts find the top keyword phrases for their industry and run ads for only those keywords. This is a big mistake. The top keywords are the ones that have the most competition and also the lowest click-thru rates. Smart Google Adwords marketers know that the more specific a keyword phrase is the more people will click on the ad. People that search for a keyword like ‘widgets’ are more likely to skip over an ad targeting such a broadly targeted keyword. However, ‘large plastic widgets’ is much more of a refined search and there are far fewer advertisers with ads that target that phrase so you get the double benefit of having fewer ads in competition with yours and you can also run ad text that exactly matches that keyword phrase! Doing keyword research and compiling a large list of keywords may be time consuming, but you will run rings around your competition if you are willing to do what they are not. Secret #6 - Split-test your ads in Google Adwords As mentioned in Part 1 of this series of articles on Google Adwords, it is critical to split-test your ads. Google Adwords has a built-in feature that lets you automatically rotate the appearance of your ads so different ads can be shown an equal number of times (or weighted more heavily toward the ad that gets more clicks if you prefer - you can change this in the campaign settings). The benefit of this approach is that you will be able to see which ad gets a better click-thru rate (CTR). Since Google Adwords rewards a higher CTR with lower cost per click (CPC), it is crucial that you know which ad has a better CTR. Sometimes just swapping the ad text that appears on lines 2 and 3 will make a big difference in your ad performance. Secret #7 - Improve your ads in Google Adwords So what do you do if you find that after split-testing two different ads a clear winner emerges? Simple. Chuck the lower CTR ad, keep the winner, and create a new ad to split-test against the current reigning champion. By following this split-test strategy, you will constantly be improving your ads CTR and lowering your CPC. How do you know when a clear winner has emerged? Is it enough to have two ads that both have received 10 clicks each? Or should you wait until you have 100 clicks each before making the determination that one ad is superior to the other? Statistically, a total of 100 clicks between the two ads will mean the answer is fairly certain, while 200 clicks between both ads is an almost definite certainty. What’s stopping you from finding qualified, motivated buyers and getting them to your website when they are ready to buy? There is no better marketplace for this steady stream of valuable traffic than with Google Adwords. By employing the tips and strategies outlined in this series of articles, you will be armed to the teeth to convert those hard earned dollars spent
on Google Adwords into profits for your online business

Affiliate Marketing: 7 steps to automated profits

Do you remember when there was no remote controls, or microwaves? Well, many of those things really automate our lives now, in fact many things in our lives are automated, we can say that in general we really like things to be automated because it makes our lives easier. And the same applies to affiliate marketing, we would love it to be more automated, to make money the easy and smart way...,right?... Well it is possible, but just like the many automated things we have today took time in the beginning to create, the same thing applies to automate your profits. It is going to take some time in the beginning to get started and set up everything you need, but once the system is in place, you can begin to reap the benefits of having your own automated money making machine. There is some basic things you are going to need to set up your automated affiliate machine, but once you have learned how to do it, you can do it over and over again for repeated profits. Let us find out how: 1)==> The first thing you need to do is to find a good affiliate product that supplies the needs of a certain niche. Use the following tool to find a profitable niche: digitalpoint.com/tools (under keywords) After you have found a nice niche, you can go and find an appropriate affiliate program or product that supplies the need of that specific niche, (try google, search for: "affiliate program") tip: Always take a look at the affiliate products sales copy and ask your self, does it makes you want to buy?..... You can also try to contact the owner and ask how much their conversion is, this way you know how many visitors you need to send to that specific site to make a profit. And one more thing, don´t settle for a commission of less then 50%. 2)==> Set up domain and hosting. In this step you must go and find a good domain name and a place to host your site, you can find a good one at godaddy.com. The prices are not very expensive, and if you are just starting out, it is a good place to start with. They are very reliable and have been around for several years now, you can pay via paypal or credit card. 3)==> A Reliable Autoresponder. In the process of making your affiliate campaigns more automated you are going to definitely need an autoresponder. It works the same way as an automated answering machine but instead it delivers prewritten messages (written by you) under several days, you can configure it to send out messages with intervals of just a couple of days or more. I do not recommend you to get a free autoresponder since in every message you send out to your costumers, there is and ad included. Does not look very professional, right?... The best thing to do is to get a "real" and reliable autoresponder system. You can find several ones out there, just go to google and type "autoresponders". I personally recommend: Emailaces, Getresponse or Aweber. 4)==> A Landing Page. If you don´t know what a landing page is, it is simply a page with a short message that stimulates the person to subscribe to your list in change of a very compelling benefit, like for example a free report. This is very important, because if you don´t do it these people may never come back and you will have lost that client forever... So don´t take this step lightly, it will literally jump start your sales. 5)==> The Automated System... Now the time to combine things has come: Inside your autoresponder account you can generate a form that you can setup on your site, so when people land on you site they can subscribe to your list and then once they are on your list you can follow up with several prewritten messages. You can for example create a mini course delivered through several days or presell for a specific product and then in every message slip in your affiliate recommendation. Another beautiful thing is that when they fill out the form you can redirect them to your affiliate product site and make a sale, this works very well. 6)==> How to set everything up? Do you have dreamweaver or some kind of html editor? If not you can use a free one, it is a very nice and handy little tool, it is called nvu, and you can find at nvu.com Take the form you generated inside your autoresponder account and paste into your site with your html editor. 7)==> Time to Promote. One of the most important things of this whole system is that you must promote. Yes! If you fail to promote or advertise your product the other steps won´t work..., Some recommendations about where to start, I am putting them in the order I feel they will work best: A) Google Adwords Open an Google Adwords account and start advertising in 15 minutes, If you are unsure about how to use this resource, I recommend you checking out Brad Callen´s Free Google Adwords guidebook, it is a very good one, it´s free and you can find it on Google. B) Solo Ads. Use Ezine Solo Ads to get your message out quick, make a search on google for "Solo ads", If you don´t have much money to start with go for the ezines that have few subscribers, like for example I have found offers to mail an ezine ad to 10000 people for 25 bucks, but you can even find cheaper ads. In most cases the other type of ezine ads does not perform as well as solo ads, so I would stick to solo ads. C) Write Articles. This is one of the best Free methods you can find to advertise you products! I like it very much, I personally use it every time and always get results. I recommend you make an article somehow useful that delivers good content that can help others, "How to" articles are always popular for example. If you just feel you don´t like to write, hire one cheap at justarticles.com . D) Link Exchange. Many people exchange links to rank high in the search engines, and yes it does work, but also remember that it takes time to rank high. I would consider that a secondary effect of linking, as I would focus on exchange links with other for the simple purpose of receiving traffic from your links on other sites. Think about those steps and go to action! Don´t lose more time, act now and automate your profits today, your bank account will appreciate it

Did Google Slap You?

According to the blogs, forums and a variety of other news sources affiliate advertisers are getting slapped around by Google big time! Google Adwords costs are skyrocketing, sponsored listing placements have hit rock bottom or are disappearing altogether. What about you? Has your site been affected? Do you want to know the real reason why this happened? Would you like to prevent this from happening to your affiliate site, or regain your Adwords placement? Then listen up. Because contrary to what you might have heard, "Google's Slap" has absolutely nothing to do with squeeze pages or other sign-up forms on your landing pages. Nothing! Then what's the problem? Relevance. It's all about your landing page's relevance people. Technically speaking, Google changed their "Quality Score" standards. The change mostly effects marketers who point their AdWords campaigns to simple sales pages and squeeze pages (AKA lead capture pages). These marketers have lost a lot of traffic and impressions and have seen their cost per click skyrocket. Google has made it crystal clear about its requirements that you make your pages relevant to the keyword, title and description used in your ad. Where does it say that? Right in Google AdWords Landing Page and Site Quality Guidelines: https://adwords.google.com/select/siteguidelines.html Following is an excerpt from those guidelines: "If users don't quickly see what they clicked on your ad to find, they'll leave your site frustrated and may never return to your site or click on ads in the future. Here are some pointers for making sure that doesn't happen: Link to the page on your site that provides the most useful and accurate information about the product or service in your ad. Ensure that your landing page is relevant to your keywords and your ad text. Distinguish sponsored links from the rest of your site content. Try to provide information without requiring users to register. Or, provide a preview of what users will get by registering. In general, build pages that provide substantial and useful information to the end-user. If your ad does link to a page consisting of mostly ads or general search results (such as a directory or catalog page), provide additional information beyond what the user may have seen in your ad or on the page prior to clicking on your ad. You should have unique content (should not be similar or nearly identical in appearance to another site). For more information, see our affiliate guidelines." Here's the summarized version: If all of the affiliate links are removed from your site does your site still provide relevant, informative and valuable content for visitors? It really doesn't get any clearer than that what Google wants to see, now does it? All Google is trying to do is get you to improve the quality of your site. Having quality content on your site like articles, reports, news, etc., will also help your AdWords listings. In addition, content rich web sites rank well in organic search engine listings. Through the placement of your site in the search engines, you will be able to attract more and better targeted traffic. Content rich sites are also more likely to obtain incoming links from outside sites. Google loves incoming links. These links will also pull in targeted traffic. Speaking of links, when you add content to your site, link directly to a content page from the landing page. My research has shown, sites with a considerable number of pages have been less effected by Google's Slap. Also, add a "Contact" page to your site and link directly to this page from the landing page. Finally, create a "Site Map" and link to all your content pages directly from the site map. In addition, the content page you’ve linked to from the landing page, should link to the site map. I contacted a few affiliates I know, while doing research for this article and here's what I discovered: The affiliates who provide relevant, valuable content on their landing pages have found their efforts are actually being rewarded during this latest Google Dance. I also discovered, their Adwords costs are actually decreasing, while their placement in the sponsored listings are increasing, thus making their ads more visible. In closing, if you want to avoid Google's Slap, just provide quality content throughout your site, link directly to the content from your landing page, and make your landing pages relevant to the keyword, title and description used in your ad

How to multiply your sale by attracting affiliates

"When I Got Out Of Bed This Morning, I Discovered I'd Sold $870.55 Of MyProducts While I Was Asleep!" You've seen this line on most famous Internetmarketer Neil Shearing's website. Not only the Neil but many other big marketersare doing the same. You must be wondering how somebody can make sales if heis Asleep. It's possible because they have an army of affiliates.Affiliates are other internet marketers with a good number of opt-in subscribers. They seek for new products and recommend to their list. What you have to do isto provide them a good product and promotional material. So they will createmore buzz for your product and you earn a handsome amount of money. It's awin-win situation for both. Now the question may arises in your mind that how to find new affiliates. Thisfear is a stumbling block that stops many site owners from getting started withaffiliate marketing. Interestingly, with a proper marketing strategy, gettingaffiliates may not be very difficult. Given below are some tips that may wipeyour fear about finding new affiliates.1. Affiliate Program DirectoriesThere are several sites on the Internet dedicated to listing affiliate Programs.Get your program listed in these directories. Affiliates usually look thesedirectories to find new products. By listing your program you'll get moreexposure. Just make a search on Google for "Affiliate Program Directories" andsubmit your program. 2. Find Complimentary Sites"Complementary" sites are a sites that sell products or services that complimentyour offerings. If you sell "gardening tools", a site that sells books on "gardeningtips" would be a perfect affiliate. If you sell software, try looking for sites thatsell computers or computer parts. Finding sites that already attract your targetmarket, and can benefit from recommending your product or service to theirvisitors, is the goal.3. Find content sitesThere are many sites that do not sell any kind of product or service but aremainly content-oriented sites. Such sites promote an idea, concept, study orbelief. Content sites that are used as a resource for your target market are idealaffiliates.4. Place a link on your Sales PageOne of the ways to find affiliates is to place a visible link of your affiliateprogram at your home page. A healthy side of this coin is that you can convertyour visitors in to your affiliates. You can offer your affiliate program to yourcustomers also.By doing this you’ll get a decent number of affiliates. Now the Second Step is toprovide them promotional material so they can make more sales. Each of youraffiliate will have different needs so you should focus on each type ofpromotional material. Here are some basic things to look for:1. Email Ads:Your most affiliates may be interested in placing ads in e-zines or their ownnewsletters. Try writing a few ads in different lengths. While writing email adsalways try to use hypnotic language and emotion trigger words so it increasesyour Click through rate (CTR).2. Signature Files:Some affiliates may even add your tag to their signature line. Give them a fewwitty lines to choose from.3. Articles:These are great for affiliates that need content for their websites andnewsletters. Write some good articles and allow your affiliates to republish it attheir website and newsletter. It will improve your search engine ranking also.Make a pin point that your article must be a healthy reading for your readers sothey read it again and again.4. Banners:Though banners aren't much effective as other methods but are still widelyused. Make banners in a variety of sizes to fit tops of pages, bottoms, toolbars, sidebars and other miscellaneous areas.5. Product Images:Give your affiliates images that show and link directly to specific products. They'll be able to choose an image specific to their site, or choose severalimages to display.6. Brandable Reports:This is probably the best tool in my opinion because it adds a viral effect in yourprogram. Make a short report so your affiliate can brand it with there ownaffiliate link and give away. To add viral effect just place a line at first and last page of report like "ClickHere to make this Report your 24/7 digital salesperson" and add a link to youraffiliate page. These are some points to start and run your affiliate program. Once you haveyour affiliate program properly set and your system under control, considerdeveloping promotions for your affiliates. Give them special incentives to sellmore during a certain time frame, move seasonal products, or increase businessduring your slow months. Offer them additional commissions, or even bonuses forreaching a specific amount of sales. In conclusion, if you follow the steps I have just outlined and if you are readyfor a little work and a lot of organization, your affiliate program should be up andrunning in no time

Google's Secret Guidelines On Thin Affiliates

Journalist Henk van Ess has caused a flurry of excitement on blogs and forums. In his blog he revealed that Google uses teams of humans all over the world to evaluate the accuracy of Google's search results. These "international agents", who are paid $10 to $20 an hour, were recruited mainly through universities. They're paid to check search results at Google every day.Don't be distracted by the debate over whether Google should be doing this.Of course it should. It's just a form of quality control.Google can use the evaluators' findings to tweak its algorithms and reduce search engine spam.Spam Recognition GuideWhat affiliates need to pay careful attention to is Google's "Spam Recognition Guide for Raters", which Henk revealed. If you're a "thin affiliate," beware.Although the report is a year old, about 80% of its contents are still being used by Google's evaluators, Henk says. The confidential document gives us an unvarnished look at Google's attitude to affiliates. If you're using any of the "manipulative techniques" Google describes, this report will probably encourage you to take a hard look at your website.I hope you're not silly enough to be using hidden links or hidden text. Not surprisingly, Google teaches its "raters" how to detect them.PPC revenue earners under fireAre you creating pages without much content with the aim of collecting pay-per-click (PPC) revenue? Google's raters are taught to mark such pages as "Offensive", and gives examples.Google secret guidelines spend some time discussing different ways in which some affiliates display results from pay-per-click search engines, so if you're doing that, you'll definitely want to study this report carefully. Are you displaying ads disguised as search engine results? Google finds them offensive. Are you adding a dmoz.org feed to your site with the aim of earning PPC revenue? That's "offensive", too.Google says:"We differentiate between affiliates that produce extra service, value, or content, and those that simply are duplicates of other sites, set up to boost traffic to other sites and earn a commission for it. The former ones are not Offensive and should be rated on the merits to the query. The latter ones are Offensive..."Thin affiliate doorways are sites that usher people to a number of Affiliate programs, earning a commission for doing so, while providing little or no value-added content or service to the user. A site certainly has the right to try to earn income;we're attempting to identify sites that do nothing but act as a commission-earning middleman."Affiliate networks seen as warning signsTo Google, affiliate links such as qksrv.net, bfast.com and myaffiliateprogram.com - on the page or in redirects - "strongly suggest" that the site is a thin affiliate. Are you using an affiliate datafeed? To Google, that's another warning sign. However, if you offer a comparison of prices between different online merchants, you're OK, you're not a thin affiliate.Google provides an incredibly tough guideline, which hundreds of thousands of affiliate sites fail to meet.Google says:"Do not call a page affiliate spam when an affiliation is only incidental to the message and purpose of a website. To determine whether participation in affiliate programs is central or incidental to the site's existence, ask yourself this question: Would this site remain a coherent whole if the pages leading to the affiliate (merchant) were taken away?"That probably counts out most affiliate sites. In summary, if you want to be friends with Google, make sure you provide extra value or content.I've quoted only parts of the report. Any serious affiliate will want to study the whole thing carefully. You can read the full report on Henk's blog here

How To Be A Successful Affiliate Marketer

Affiliate marketing is the process of promoting the goods or services of another person in exchange for getting a commission every time that one of those goods or services is sold.Affiliate marketing in this way can be a very easy way for a person to get something done and when it comes right down to it the low cost and easy time commitments that affiliate marketing brings to the table are exactly what people need when they are starting up a business. However, this does not mean that everyone that tries affiliate marketing is going to be successful at it, so even though it is one of the easiest ways to start a business online, you still need to know how to win at affiliate marketing.Location In real estate, location is the biggest thing. In affiliate marketing, location is also the biggest thing albeit in a different way.The location we are looking for in affiliate marketing is not the location of geography or region that real estate developers are interested in, but rather the location affiliate markets are looking for is the proper market to sell their products.Markets are targeted to different things and interested in different things and figuring out which markets are likely to like the products you are marketing is part of becoming a great affiliate marketer. You can make things a lot easier on yourself by ensuring that the affiliate marketing that you do is only directed at markets and people that are actually interested in those particular products.Leverage
There is a very sad story in some affiliate marketing circles and it is the story of the person that did not understand leverage. This person came up with a fantastic marketing plan for affiliate marketing and tried it on one product. That plan worked great, but because the profits that it brought in were not enough to sustain a full time income, the person gave up and heartbreakingly went back to their old job. What is the lesson here? The lesson is that people need to consider leverage when they consider how to win at affiliate marketing.Figuring out a strategy that works is hard, but once you have that strategy your next goal becomes to leverage the strategy by applying it to as many different products as possible. If you can make $100 a week selling a certain product, why not start building up your infrastructure so that you end up making $10,000 a week eventually by selling 100 products that each make $100 a week?Critical ThinkingLocation and leverage are two examples of things that came about as a result of critical thinking.Someone was faced with a problem (too few people interested in the general public or too little profit from selling one product) and came up with a solution by thinking on their feet.Everything that you do in affiliate marketing will require this type of critical thinking and it would be impossible to go through the hundreds of different ways that this is already true of the field.Just remember to always re-evaluate the situation you are in and try to think critically about ways that you can make it better.

Finally - How To Get Google Adwords Pay-per-click Ads Free

The man has already gotten for himself over $87 million in highly-targeted Google ads and other search engine advertising, but without having to pay for any of it.He's even made a fortune over $300 million as a result! In the last 2 years alone he's done more than $166 million in net earnings pushing his secret to the limit. And he's now willing to share this same exact secret with YOU!This same secret has already allowed a handful of people to do as he's done and make their fortunes online. His secret is nothing illegal, has nothing to do with hacking, nor does it require you have a "friend" or family member working at Google or any other search engine.Additionally this same secret can be readily and easily applied to any search engine that ordinarily accepts paid advertising for sponsored ads (such as Overture, MSN, Yahoo, MIVA, etc). You will still have to set up an account with Google or use your existing one in order to do this. But using this secret you won't have to pay for any of the advertising costs, and which means you earn far larger profits than otherwise had you been forced to pay for your advertising. Also, it means you aren't at nearly as much risk since you won't be spending your money on Google ads (which have only become more and more expensive since Google went public a few years ago).It also gives you these clear "cut-above" advantages:-You'll be able to deliberately outbid even your toughest competitor, but you won't have to worry about paying for the clicks you get!-You'll be able to increase your daily budget higher than everyone else for the same keywords sets, and so your ads never get pulled because you reached any particular day's limit.-You'll be able to use an unlimited number of keywords, and set up as many different or separate ad campaigns as you like, and bid however you wish, and with no restrictions on your daily budgets.-You'll therefore be able to *DOMINATE & MONOPOLIZE* any niche for whatever you're selling, and get the TOP PREMIUM SPOTS for every single keyword or keyword phrase you use!-You'll be able to repeat this with an unlimited number of products you want to offer, so you can expand your online business to as many other Internet selling businesses as you like and without any fears or reservations!-You'll be able to apply all this whether you own your own site and product, or even if you're an affiliate or reseller of someone else's products! As you can see this one secret alone makes everything possible!Someone would have to hate "money" to refuse this secret. And this brings up an important point: The man who now holds this secret and who's spent the better part of the last 8 years perfecting and developing it is not going to keep it available to others forever. Before releasing it he consulted Internet marketing experts, macroeconomists, market analysts, a business psychologist and even an "economics-sociologist" to be sure that such a release wouldn't prove to make "lopsided" the online landscape. He found out (ironically) that releasing his secret was actually *more* beneficial to Google and other search engines in that by allowing many advertisers to use his secret too it actually stimulates more business.Strangely, and despite your best logic to the contrary, his secret does not diminish revenues from the search engines at all, but rather INCREASES them! (You'll have to get his secret to know exactly why it works in this "opposite-from-what-one-might-expect" way!)But, the New Englander is deliberately not going to keep his secret available for long - and note that whether he continues or discontinues its availability won't affect his own personal fortune in the least as he's already so rich ($300 million worth!) what's another few million either way?But whether or not he keeps it available or not WILL affect you as by not having it you must continue to pay like everybody else, but by having it at your fingertips you are licensed to monopolize and hugely profit from any marketplace online you choose! So I hope you recognize both the value of this man's secret as well as the immediacy and urgency for taking action now and forever securing it for yourself before it's truly forever gone - and you therefore miss out on it for good!Don't let this happen ... don't make this mistake.Instead, just go to the web address just below and make his secret (that made him over $300 million!) YOUR OWN! ...You can thank yourself when you do

Google Adwords Is one of the best ways of promote your site, online business or what you want to promote. You can join Google Adwords here: http://www.google.com/adwords/ After join, you can setup your first Ad, where you will be able to select the “Ad Text”, “Ad Link to show”, “Ad link to go after click”, “Ad Title” and “Ad keywords”. You will need to think about what product want to promote. Remember, Adwords will send you people that are searching for this product. For example, if you are searching for “Cars” in Google, you will see that after press “Search button” some ads appears in the right and maybe above of search results. Adwords will put your ad on this places exactly when people is searching it, so in less words, people will see ads of what they are searching for. For this reason Adwords is most effective ways to promote your business.
You can setup your keywords, you will need to search about keywords using Overture Keyword Tool, where you will be able to enter the keyword and will get last month searches for this keyword and related phrases, also you will be able to get “Advertisers Bids” for this keywords.
Selecting most common keywords is not always the best solution, because keywords like “email” or “car” are really spensive, because this keywords are most searched In Internet. Maybe you can select other related keywords, or phrases. There are lot of it that are also searched and cost the minimum ($0.05)
Ok, now you have your product selected (using ClickBank), you have the right keywords and your Ad designed (title and text). After you complete the Adwords Steps, your ad will be sent for “Approval” and Google Team will approve (or not) in just one day (sometimes I got it approved the same day).
With $50 you can start your own Adwords Campaign, if you selected keywords as low as $0.05, so with $50 you will get 1,000 Relevant and Exactly visits to your products, just think that if your product is nice and good, you may get 10 or more sales, and if you get only $12.50 per sale, you will get $125.00 for $50 of investment. ($75 ROI)
Ok, now, if it is your first time with Adwords, and don’t want to spend your first $50 you can go to ebay.com, register an account for free, and search for “Adwords Coupons”. You will get a list with all auctions related with Adwords Coupons. What is it? Adwords Coupons are links or just “coupons” to get discounts or free Adwords Credit. You can buy at ebay.com $55 free adwords credit for less than $2, and it works fine. I used it last months, but after I got real profit from my sales I never didn’t use it again, because if im a really “internet marketer” I need to spend some money to get success, not all is free, or just not always people can get free promotion.
Do all above, read more about Google Adwords in Adwords Support Center, you will get lot of features like “Select the Country where you want to offer your product”, it’s a good option because you will not want to offer products to all countries… you only will want to offer it to specified country, to get more targeted visits to your Ad.
Im getting real profit from this tactic, its very used for Webmasters and People around the globe, and its one of best ways to get real income in just one week.
